404 error on website root.

description

I tried the module with one of my portals. It's not the main portal of the DNN installation, though.

While the install went smoothly, after adding the module to the main page of the child portal and configuring it, I was inexplicably getting a 404 error (and not the default IIS 404) when accessing the website (and the main website) from the root URL, although the website would display once I appended the /default.aspx to the URL.

For example, http://gypsies.rask.ca and http://digioxy.com would return a 404 saying "Resource not found", but http://gypsies.rask.ca/default.aspx and http://digioxy.com/default.aspx would display their respective websites just fine.

I couldn't find any errors in the DNN, Event, or IIS logs.

Uninstalling the module corrected this issue.

Did you try adding the root URL to the settings instead of the default.aspx page?

I had this too. See: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/forumid/108/postid/452045/scope/posts.aspx#452045
I did get a file not found error, but it didn't state the file it was looking for.
DNN 6.0.0 and v1.1.1 of this open graph module.

I'd love to have any additional details that you can provide. So far, I am unable to duplicate the issue, but at least two installations are running into this.

If this is still an issue, please create a new one at the location below, and include any screenshots, versions, and errors as necessary.
